Minor Account With Simplified Account Opening Process

We are pleased to announce the introduction of Minor Account opening along with Simplified 4 steps Onboarding Journey on Online MF platform.

Now, Process for Onboarding has been simplified.  You can onboard client with either of one contact details (Mobile or Email) updated with KRA. You can also initiate Minor account opening with & without PAN.

As a part of the change, we have simplified the process which allows Investors onboarding with any of contact details (mobile or email) as updated at KRA.  An investor can change & update the new contact details on online MF platform & same has to be updated at KRA.  Relationship Manager & Investor must update the changed details at KRA as soon as possible.

Let’s look at the detailed process flow of New features of Account Opening on MF Online platform:

Simplified Account Opening: 

• Initiate account with any of the contact details (Email or Mobile)

• An investor can change any of contact details (Email & Mobile) by verifying it with OTP

• Now only 4 Steps to initiate Account opening (Holding pattern>Bank Details>Documents>Confirmation)

• Pre-filled CKYC form will be mailed to RM & Investors to get the changed details updated in KYC records

Minor Account Opening on MF Online:

Step 1: Signup using Google Account, Email Id & Mobile No

Step 2: Login using Google Account, Email Id or Mobile No.

Step 3: Click on Create Account Option

Step 4: Select Holding pattern, tax Status as "Minor" & Select Occupation

Step 5: Click on "Add New Pan" in case Minor has Pan else Click on "Continue Without Pan"

Step 6: Click on "Add New Pan" under Guardian Tab or select Pan from the drop-down in case of guardian already onboarded

Step 7: Enter Bank Details & Nominee details

Step 8: Upload Document & initiate account

 List of Documents For Minor Account: 

• Document proving the relationship between minor & guardian (Birth certificate, Passport, Court proof)

• In case of a legal guardian, copy of court order required

• Birth certificate issued by the municipal authorities or passport
